It has been so funny that we are experiencing such a mild winter so far. I say “so far” since we are not even halfway through the season and you never know what mother nature has in store for us. For me it reminds me when I was very ill as a child, and mom and dad at times had to bring me to CHOP in some of thee worst storms and treacherous driving conditions. We really had no choice whether we we’re going to take the trip or not. And although it was not a far drive of about 45 minutes, it was terrible while sliding on icy roads. I think of the break that parents have had so far with their travels and pray that it remains mild throughout the rest of the season if not for anything else but for all of you!
