Be Thankful

There are times, even for myself, that I wonder with all of the stress, what do I have to be thankful for. It takes me a few minutes in all the stress of everyday life for me to stop and remember that I have so very much to be thankful for. Not just the one day out of the year that we celebrate Thanksgiving, but every day I am here on earth smiling and giving. I personally thank each day I am healthy and have life and for the love of my family and close friends. Although I still have health issues that at times are quite serious,  I still give thanks for what I do have. I need to be positive and focus on the good in my life since there is so much more of that. I am thankful for giving birth to a wonderful son, having a wonderful stepdaughter  that I was given as a gift when I married my husband, and for my husband who is by my side through it all. For better or worse is putting it lightly for some of us, but we take it very seriously.

Take a few moments to reflect on the good in your life, if you like, share it with us and take even the smallest good and keep it close to your heart. I know that things are not always great and illness can overpower a holiday, but keep the positive and accept some of my strength to help you find all the good you have.
