The other night, we went to dinner with a good friend for his birthday. We try to do a special dinner with all of our very close friends, usually they choose the restaurant and or what they would like to do that day or night.
It is nice to feel special, don’t you agree? The day you were born is certainly a celebration of life. One day a year is “your day” as in the Dr. Seuss book I use to read to my son many moons ago, “Happy Birthday to You”. In this story you can do whatever you want this day since it is your day. If you do not want to brush your teeth then you do not even have to do this. I read this story to his often and he loved it. It truly explains to you how you and you alone are special this day. Well, he is 23 now and I still remember this story and still think it is a favorite of mine. Says something about that author.
