On behalf of the Alesia Shute Foundation, we want to thank you for your generosity in having donations sent in our Carmen’s memory to the foundation. Carmen was very special to us for so many years. This is such a nice way for us to place a permanent memory of his smile, humor, and his individual personality for others to share with us.
You both have been so supportive of everything charitable I have done in as many years we have known you both. This is a final salute to Carmen in a special way. We are sending the total amount that was raised to CHOP for their special, all around hospital Halloween Party. This fund allows them to create an atmosphere for all the hospital’s patients to be included in the festivities on Halloween. They supply costumes, food, Halloween treats, activities, etc.
Since Carmen’s favorite holiday was Halloween, it seemed an appropriate way to use this money that was donated.
