I had the pleasure of spending a week with some close friends in Myrtle Beach. I invited them down to help us with a rental property my husband and I have. Once a year the rental company required a deep cleaning and repairs so to save a bit of money we killed two birds with one stone by having them join us for the week to relax and enjoy each others company, while cleaning and repairing all the small things that break during the summer season of rentals. Fortunately, our group of friends are very handy and very helpful with nothing being too much for them to do and in return we cook, go out to dinner, shop, and laugh. Yes, laughing is part of the deal. I think we laughed from the minute we left until we returned one week later.
We kept ourselves busy but not too busy and when you can spend 24/7 with friends and still continue to laugh even at the end of the trip, you can consider yourself blessed to have them in your life. We are now back home with a clean condo from top to bottom, with everything that needed fixing complete, and already looking forward to another trip with the same group.
