I met with a lovely women, Mari, recently along with my husband and I am so excited about the possibility of working together with her! Mari wants to throw a party for 150 oncology patients under 12 years old in Waretown, NJ. She has so many wonderful thoughts, ideas, and plans to put this event together and she stumbled upon me in a newspaper article while sitting in her doctors office.
Mari then emailed me with her ideas and asked if she thought we would be a fit. It turns out that we decided to meet the next day and share our thoughts and goals for helping others and ended up hitting it off in the first 5 minutes together.
Needless to say, this September we are planning to throw this wonderful party for all these ill children. We will meet again soon and iron out all of the details, which I will be sharing with all of you. For me, the best part is that we plan on gifting my book to every family who attends. It is so very exciting to meet up with someone who shares my mission and wants to help others. I love how these opportunities arise and people can come together to do great things!
