On June 29th, the volunteers from The Alesia Shute Foundation will be getting together to bring dinner up to the Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey. This is one of our favorite outings and we look forward to dining and meeting all the families who will be staying there that week. Although it is a Friday, and some families may opt to stay a bit later at the hospitals, we will enjoy those who are there, share our prayers, and listen to their stories. I will be gifting my books to everyone who is there and will leave extras for those who may not be visible that night. It is so nice to share our stories and to really listen to what they are going through and how they are dealing with their problems. I look forward to the volunteers helping to cook, clean up, and give back to others. That is what life is about, isn’t it?
