I joined the Imerman Angels to become a mentor a while back but have not had a computer match until now. I finally got a call from them with my first person who is going through similar things with her health as I do and I had a chance to call her this past week. It was a nice feeling to think of myself as an angel with a mission and an assignment. My job – to listen, support, and let that person know she is not alone. There is someone else out there that had been through it, knows your pain, and is here to listen to what you have to say. It felt good! I do hope that I am able to bring a positive smile to this women’s face, since she is certainly going through a lot. I was interested in what she had to say and hope and pray I gave her the answers she was looking for. I did tell her I would call again but to feel free to call me if she needed to ask, just chat or needed something I could help her with.
