My brother had a chance to read my book and I was quite surprised at his reaction.
He told me he did not realize throughout our lives what I had really gone through and says I left out too much. I actually thought he was going to be unhappy even mentioning him at all. He was disappointed to not read more about himself. I explained that I wanted to keep the focus on my sickness and all I had been through and keep the momentum of the story flowing. For that he understood, but now seems to understand that he did go through a lot as a child as a result of my being sick. Wanting to read more seems to be the popular vote from most people. So my thoughts are that there may be another book in the future, but this one has to prove itself first. Keep your eyes and ears open for something special happening with this book over the next few months.
