My Son

After all I had been through as a child suffering with cancer and the numerous surgeries and procedures I endured, I was actually able to give birth to a son. I have watched him grow, and now he will be turning 21 on his next birthday in September.

To see this baby, who I never thought I could even have, be born at 8lbs 4oz and grow into the fine young man he is right now, has brought me so much joy. Johnathan is about 6′1″ and around 210 lbs. He is blonde, and so very handsome I cannot believe I gave birth to him. He will be a senior in college this year and has managed to work, have a girfriend and make the Dean’s List. He is a wonderful combination of my husband and I with a natural ability for business and an outstanding personality. I truly believe that if he puts his mind to it, he will be ble to do anything he wants or dreams of in his life. He is lucky enough to have a great support system within his family, and given the chance he will succeed. All he has to do is want it bad enough. You get what you give and good things come to those who wait. I live by these words. Good luck to my son, and never give up on what you dream. I didn’t!
