Orlando

I know that it has been a bit of time since the Orlando incident but I cannot stop thinking about how that week unfolded. First a young up and coming singer is gunned down after her concert and then 50 innocent people were killed in a nightclub about a night after. Of course it triggered a few other things around the country, but my heart is still aching for these tragedies. We all sit watching the news with heavy hearts and wonder how can this keep happening? Why? Why? How? Are there answers to keeping both mental illness and evil under control? Why do we only see the signs after the fact. We all have to admit there are things daily that happen around us that we question and keep us puzzled on behavior of others and at times, it even irks us throughout the day but it is not until the horrific incident that we really see it clearly. This blog is to ask someone out there, a reporter, a family member of one of the victims or someone who likes to write to put together a book of memoirs of every victim. Good idea? I want to know who they were before, what they did as productive young human beings, what they would have done if they had lived. I want to feel a connection to them out of respect for each individual who happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. My prayers go to every family and may each of you have wonderful memories of your friend, family member, or partner. It could have been any one of us. My Year of You
