Power of Positive Thinking

When I was ill as a child, I really did not dwell on the fact that I might not survive. I did at times think of that but probably because of my age I did not let it work me over all the time. What I did think about is that my parents pushed me to live life to the fullest. At times, they were a bit over-protective of things I wanted to do but soon learned that I was my own person. I would not give up and reflecting back on this, my attitude towards life was to “live it”. When my parents accepted who I was and what I believed I could do, they supported me in everything I wanted to do. There was not one person who could tell me, “I could not”. This was the true turning point in survival for me and I suggest this to everyone. Let your loved ones live and push to do all they can do. It was truly an inspirational time for me. I live by this motto each and every day and believe everyone should.
