Yes, it is that time again to visit the South Jersey Ronald McDonald House! During our visit, we will cook dinner and gift books generously made possible by sponsors at my last event. My volunteers and I look forward to this and try to make something special for dinner each time–hopefully, the families remember our group! I have plenty of books to share and even enough to leave as gifts for other families who arrive after we are there. This time, we are going to make a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Our discussion when planning was, “Who does not like Thanksgiving?” Everyone does, we decided! We all have a favorite dish, and we are hoping to make as many as we can. Even though it is springtime, turkey and all the trimmings will fit right in and let everyone there know how much we care. I will post pictures after the event to share our joy with all of you.
