I love the idea that I will be involved in helping and gifting my books to 150 families with a serious ill child at an upcoming event benefitting Spread the Magic, Chad Juro’s Foundation. The mission of Spread the Magic is to spread hope and inspiration to children battling cancer through the power of magic.
Chad is a leukemia survivor and will do a magic show while I gift out my books. We will both have a chance to meet everyone, chat with the families, play with the kids, and meet so many wonderful people, all on September 23rd.
Longshots, in Waretown, NJ, has opened their doors and their hearts to us, to allow my new friend Mari to plan this awesome event. With sponsorships, and the generosity of so many, this will unfold into a community outreach event benefiting Chad’s foundation, and will introduce my foundation to an entirely new group of wonderful people.
Congratulations to Chad, his mother Penny (who has more energy than I may ever have), and Mari for your efforts. I am so excited and honored to be involved. Thank you for including me and I hope I will spread my inspiration and gift of hope to everyone who attends.
