I am certain we have all experienced a neighbor or close friend who is sick and you hear about it from other neighbors and friends.
There is a family in my neighborhood with a young child who has just had brain surgery. Only from what I hear, it is a very aggressive cancer in her brain, and she has had surgery at CHOP in the last two weeks, and not doing very well. This little girl will need aggressive chemo and raidation and has a long haul ahead. I have been in touch with her mother and hope to meet the family maybe sometime after she returns home if they will have me over. It is all I can do, reach out, and hope that they will respond to me enough for me to share my knowledge with them, and then share my words in my book to hep them all though this horrible time in their lives. The mom did tell me via email that the entire neighborhood has reached out to either pray or help in some way and she is overwhelmed with this along with her new journey in life.
Reach out for a friend or neighbor, they need the support. Spread the word. Everyone will feel rewarded for this. Our prayers go out to this family and others going through similar problems. We feel your pain. Let us in.
