I found out not long ago that the woman from Berlin Township that was recently killed by her former boyfriend, was related to a friend of mine. My friend Katie often spoke about her sister when we walked on the treadmills at the gym together. A few years ago, her sister’s husband was killed in a motorcycle accident and together we relived the tragedy of this and what would become of her sister. Being a young woman, she finally decided to date again and without knowing all the details (of which really do not matter), she begun to date again. She had broken up with this young man and also had a restraining order placed on him. For whatever reason, he is now being held responsible for her stabbing death. I do not know her personally, but how could lightning strike twice in the same place? How can this be? After speaking with my friend, she can only justify this tragic loss by knowing that her sister is now at peace and with her husband in heaven and now they are together for eternity. For everyone involved, my heart is broken for all of you. For justifying this loss, I believe that this is true- the two are now at peace, watching over their family and friends together for all eternity.
When I state that “you never know” from one minute to the next where you may be or what may happen to you or someone you love, I will now think of this blog and all it means to me to write it and share it with all of you. Embrace life each and every day. Appreciate what you have been given and take it with you forever.
