Another dear friend of mine is undergoing a breast removal in a few days and my heart is truly broken for her. The diagnosis blindsided her, like most of the time they do. She was going for her yearly mammogram and was immediately sent to see a surgeon, and after hearing all of her options she decided to have the entire breast removed and hopefully be done with it.
My friend is in very good health and takes good care of herself; She has been told by all of her doctors this is all going to play a role in her recovery and she should be back on her feet very soon. With all that I have been through it is still very upsetting to hear bad news, especially when it is someone you truly care about. I guess I cannot help putting myself in their shoes and imagining how I would feel and react to the news all over again.
This friend is one of the strongest women I know. She is brave, well rounded, level headed and I know she will be a survivor! We all will be praying for you my friend.
