Another evening will be upon us and again I reach out and ask my followers for donations of gifts and also to please attend. We have been at it for 7 years, something I struggle to believe myself since this journey began as a “thing” I wanted to do for myself and my family. I always felt the urge to sit down and write my story. I felt very strongly that I had one buried inside and so with the plan being that I would be old and retired when I had the time, in my mid 40’s, I found myself out of work and sitting on the couch thinking about my life. We had recently sold three businesses and there I was, while my husband was off making another deal for a new business, on the couch and a laptop calling my name. I dont have to tell all of you the rest of the story, but in a nutshell I finished my book, and my husband and I decided I needed to share it with the world. So, self publishing and deciding to make it a charitable foundation, wanting to inspire others, here I am over 7 years later, my book and foundation took a life of it’s own.
