The week of Christmas, our son was able to come home and spend a bit of time with us. It was decided that he would finally learn the recipe for my grandmother’s matzo ball chicken soup. When he arrived and we got all the ingredients out, he was such a good listener and he was very easy to teach. Johnathan loves to cook and enjoys learning so it was a pleasure to teach him. My mother learned from my grandmother and I learned from my mother. It was fun to share this tradition with him and he will now be able to teach his fiance when they marry. I look forward to their first family gathering whenever that happens in the future and hope they take the chicken soup challenge. Johnthan was surprised
by how easy it was to put the soup together and simmer once you have all ingredients ready to go. Thanks Johnathan for helping spread the warmth of a wonderful receipe and we all look forward to trying it out on Christmas Day.
