FREEDOM

Seems appropriate enough to blog about this since Saturday is the big day: The 4th of July and what it means to me. With everything going on in this world, I often think about how lucky we all are to be here in the USA. I know that recently things have been creeping up on us in our country with ISIS and others who do not believe in peace and harmony among us all, but this country stands for everything I have and for that, I thank my higher power every day I am here on this earth. We have so much to offer and to be thankful for in our country. Freedom first and foremost, that I wake every day and do exactly as I want to, being a productive human being and giving back to others. I can walk down the street with my head held high and not be afraid to speak my mind. I can go wherever I want, with whomever I wish to at any time and do pretty much anything I please, as long as it is within the law.  I am here to love, share and respect what we stand for. I thank all of those in the past, present, and future who have fought for this country, for what we have, and what we have accomplished. There will always be controversy in the world, but I know for me, my family, and all of you here in the USA, we will always embrace this freedom and fight for it forever.
