Gilda’s Club Conference

I was able to attend the Gilda’s conference at the Stockton College and speak recently.

Although I am still recovering, I felt strong enough to do this event and so very glad I was able to make it. All of the guests were so kind and appreciative, especially since I did gift them all a comic book (so that they could read my story). Most of the guests attending this event were school nurses, students, counselors, survivors, etc., so they were perfect candidates to read my story. They were very receptive to what I had to share and I hope to meet them again soon at another event in the very near future. All of the Gilda’s workers were so gracious and I look forward to working with them again very soon. They are a wonderful organization and do amazing things with survivors. I was able to stay through lunch so that I could sign books and chat a bit with all of the speakers and other guests. Thank you Gilda’s Club of South Jersey for including me and I look forward to seeing you all again soon.
