This note is just a short note to give myself and others a reality check. Do unto others is what I want to share.
It does not mean you have to give give give money all the time, what it means is help, in any way you can. Gifting money is a wonderful thing, but not all of us have that luxury to do that. Give old clothes, books, toys, go to a fundraiser and work fora few hours, find out how you can do mailing, emailing, or help out in an office of a foundation or charitable organization.
Too busy to do any of those things? Maybe find a neighbor who is elderly, sick or disabled. Cook some dinner for them, offer a ride to the store or doctor, or just drop them a card wishing them well. Its easy, if you think about it. Give it a try, it might feel good.
You can even make it easier, go online to a website like mine, purchase a book, or a case of books. Give to a friend or neighbor or an organization in your area. My profits go to CHOP so that is an easy way to “give back.” Email me if you like and let me know how you make out.
