Holiday Bowling

So, this will be the second bowling fundraiser with my friends at St. Joes High School football team and I am thrilled that they want to continue to work with us and donate to my foundation. Fist we bowl and invite the entire community to join us at a local alley who is very very generous to help us keep the fundraiser affordable to everyone. After the evening is over, the team coach and I choose 8 players at a time to go to the Ronald McDonald House of Southern NJ to cook dinner, play with the kids, clean up, serve, and gift books as well. We use some of the money raised to pay for dinner and books. Any leftover funds will be used as a monetary donation to CHOP. It helps everyone to be involved and brings the boys full circle to see and be involved in the working end of the raising of the money. The first time we did this, the boys had a blast and played with the kids, hung out, cooked, baked cookies, and set up and cleaned up. Everyone smiled all evening and they wanted to know when they were doing it again. So, here we are and I am so looking forward to this. It helps me teach young people how to be involved and that it is not hard to help others, you just have to want to. Wonderful holiday teamwork. By the way, this team just won the STATE TITLE  this year! Congrats and many thanks!
