How Are Those Resolutions Going?

The “Year of You” has now reminded me of yes, those dreaded resolutions. Are you still keeping up with your promises or have you fallen off the wagon? For me, I really do not make promises that I know I will not be able to keep. For me it is about the small stuff. Instead of telling myself I will not eat the wrong foods and lose a crazy amount of weight, or not drink, or exercise more, etc.  – for me it is the promise of being a better person from day to day. It’s about helping others when I can or help to make someones life a bit easier. Being nicer to the person behind me in line at the market. These kind of small promises are so much easier to keep and therefore easier to stick to. Make small promises to yourself – just try to exercise a little more or drink a bit less. Reading about nutrition will help decide what is worth eating and what is a no-no. Take small steps in this new year of you. I think you will like yourself better at the end of each day.
