My Centerpieces

I feel like a parent bragging about my kids, but I just have to brag on this. Recently, I visited Hammonton High School Culinary Department and watched the students baking and decorating my centerpieces. We used floral centerpieces made out of cupcakes for the event. They were certainly beautiful, and they could either be eaten or taken home if people preferred. They also smelled delicious and looked beautiful put together on the tables at the event. It was so very nice to get more people involved in helping me for this special fundraiser.  The students gave back, received school credit, and even better, the Education Foundation approved to pay for them since the kids were involved and it was for charity. A win-win for all of us. I promise to post a picture of the completed product soon. What will we think of next year? Well, we have a year to plan, and I am always open to new suggestions.

Thank you again to the students, the culinary department, and the teacher, Louis Caruso, who was in charge of the project.
