Between the families that came out and the perfect weather, it was an all around wonderful day at the Touch a Truck event for the Ronald McDonald House! The sun was shinning, the heat was up, and the crowds were there. Every kind of truck you can imagine, including limousines and the truck I brought from Lilliston Ford, was there for kids to beep horns, turn all the knobs, and punch buttons, and climb in. It was very cool for the children to be allowed to do these things they normally would not get to do. Everyone seemed happy! Along with my volunteers, we gifted over one hundred comic book versions of my story. We chatted with everyone who stopped by and gave them information about my foundation, listened to their personal stories, and played with the kids. It was a fun day for all and I’m looking forward to next years event with them. Thanks for inviting us and glad to help!
