I have completed the second sample book and we have a couple of glitches that we are working out and we hope to be ready to sell within the next week or so.
I had no idea how intricate a job this was and now respect authors, proofreaders, and book designers that much more than before. I, like all of you thought that you want to write, you write and then when you think you are done they print and distribute. Well, the amount of proofs, rewrites, more rewrites, mind changes, new thoughts, errors, and such are incredible. I am striving for perfection, but now am learning that there is no such thing. I have to be ok with that. Difficult to accept but it will have to be accepted for me to move on. My book signings are coming up August 4th and 5th, with another to come at the end of August. At this point they are all in Southern New Jersey. Mark your calenders and I will give more information over the next week.
