Dream Vacations

Since the day we were married, my husband and I planned that we would someday make a trip to Hawaii. Thirty-two years later, after many years of no flying, not enough time to do it, no flying, too far…did I mention not wanting to fly especially that far,we got on the plane and made the trek. Nine days in Hawaii, 7 of them on a ship traveling throughout the islands, and three days in Southern California, WE DID IT!  I am here to let you know it was worth the wait. I loved each and every minute- every cultural experience, the food, the people, the sunshine and most of all, the beauty of the islands and how important it is to preserve the history and gorgeousness of this amazing place. I can honestly say it was pricey, and yes, a very long flight, but I could not have asked for a more beautiful vacation along with the added bonus of spending quality time with a wonderful friend and her new husband. It was perfect all the way around and I look forward to traveling with them sometime in the very near future.  The purpose of my blog today, is one, good things come to those who wait, and two, save for that dream trip, make the time before it is too late and you cannot do it. Suffering from obstructions over the past few years, I was very hesitant to make this long journey, but I decided that I cannot let my chance of becoming ill stop me from following my dreams. Don’t let that happen to you either!
