So happy to have experienced a trip to Paris, France. The experience was surreal from the beginning to end. Visiting the Effiel tower was one of the most amazing things I can say I have ever done. It is hard to describe the feeling when you pull up and begin to head towards the tower. The evening we went took my breathe away- from arrival until we left the country. The beauty and history, the feeling as we walked the streets was so satisfying that I still cannot believe that I was finally able to visit there.
What happened recently leaves me speechless, unable again to comprehend that there is such evil in the world. I have even had thoughts on hesitating another trip to Europe in the near future for fear of our safety. I am saddened for what has happened, what could happen, and for my thoughts to take me to this place. Evil cannot win by instilling fear in us, it should make us stronger. I pray for those lives lost and for us and the world to do something quickly and very radical in order to save our future and the future of our children.
