On Friday night, we did a dinner at the Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey and had a wonderful time. The food was wonderful and the guests of the RMH were so nice and very appreciative. We had some of our areas favorite restaurants donate food to help make this dinner a success. A special THANK YOU to Bagliani’s Market, Assaggio, Annata Wine Bar, and the Towne House Restaurant, all from Hammonton and Galloway Twp. They all chipped in sending food up to the house and of course some of my volunteers joined us to help serve. Without my volunteers, events like this could not happen! Everyone donated a baked good for dessert and the dinner turned out wonderful. We prepared, served, cleaned up, and then best of all, every guest of the house got a copy of my comic book! This is one of our favorite things to do during the year; meeting the families, gifting my books, sharing my story, and of course, listening to their stories and giving them some advice.
