Sun Safety

I figure that no more appropiate time to take about sun safety than smack in the middle of the summer. Everyone who is exposed to sunlight should consider the measures to protect from the sun. Unfortunately, a lot of our exposure is from when we were children, before we knew how serious skin cancers were, but that does not mean we  should not be protected as well as our children. Sunscreen is the first thing I would suggest. Slap it on everywhere. Next, clothing should cover those extra sensitive areas, and hat and glasses are almost always a must. I even at times put conditioner in my hair which has some sunscreen in it.

I took a look at the link below and took the “test.” Interesting to see how all of you will do. Please follow this and read. Some of the facts may be new to some and to others just a reminder. This summer, I personally had two cancers cut out from my leg. Not fun and took a long time to heal. For me, this hits home and I plan on increasing my sunscreen more often from now on.
