December has already proved to be a little “breath of fresh air”. While there were many occassions to be thankful in November, in general I was thankful for the opportunity to focus on my needs and the needs of my family. This has helped me to grow and has enriched my life despite the loss. All too often, we get wrapped up in being thankful for “things”, but when those things are gone, we get to take stock in what really matters – people and the relationships that we have forged. As we look ahead to the rest of December, we will look at ways to nuture the individual and put focus on those people and relationships that matter.
