Another year has passed and upon us are the thanksgiving holidays leading to all of the other celebrations of almost every nationality. For me Thanksgiving is my favorite, first because all of the family gathers and second it is leading the way to the beauty of the rest. Although I did not grow up with christmas, I love the celebration and gathering of the families, the hustle and bustle of finding the right gift for everyone and the looks on their faces when the packages are opened. I am not certain how or what you celebrate but the familure part of gift giving, cooking traditional family foods, traveling to each others homes and just being together has to be something we all celebrate. Every culture has this and every culture embraces it and wants it to go on forever. So many families are mixed and like ours we celebrate numerous things but all in all we love the actual gathering and cooking and of course eating. It seems like just yesterday that I put all the holiday decorations away but here I was over the weekend sifting through the boxes and deciding on the favorites to share with everyone this year.
