I was out today running errands and while in one of the stores, which I will not mention the name, was waited on by a lovely women who went out of her way to help me. We both got into a conversation just chatting about business in general and we ended up really connecting. She was a supervisor of the store of which I did not know until until I was leaving. Upon getting ready to leave, she hands me my merchandise and told me that she was not charging me for it and I should “pay it forward” to someone else. Before you pass any judgement on her for doing this, the item was very very small and the cost was next to nothing; just the “beauty” of her kindness that I am trying to share. As I went to pay for another larger item, I handed her my business card and told her if she emailed me I would “pay it forward” for her kindness and send her a copy of my book. She then told me how very nice that was of me and she loves to read.
I felt the need to share this act of kindness which was so very random and appreciated on my part. I needed this today, since I am quietly struggling with all the world and everything happening and although I am a very positive person, I even have my moments. So thank you to whomever picked me today to show me that there is still good in the world and there are also good people in it. Thank you.
